The evolution of good taste
We are proud to offer a fantastic range of steaks, all farm assured and aged for at least 21 days, sourced from 24 individual farms across the West Country ensuring exceptional flavour and succulent taste. Whilst ‘steak-frites’ remains the favourite among our guests, new and unusual cuts have been introduced and the menu continues to evolve.

You’ll also find Devon snails cooked in a garlic and herb butter served in the shell and our oysters are from the Carlington Bay in Ireland  where some of the finest oysters are produced.. Our ‘Cou Nu’ chicken comes from the Landes region of France, There is now also a wider range of dishes on offer and lighter fish and vegetarian dishes are a permanent and welcome addition.
The menu is still in French, bien sur, but with English descriptions, the wine list features a delicious range of New World wines as well as the perennial favourites, which complement a truly great steak so well!
